AquaBizarre #20 — Renaissance
This jolly month of May marks my 4th year in the CryptoArt Space, and starting my 5th year there — in 2019, I dropped a text to Fanny to have some tips to think about a career change in art, and she sent me a link to an NFT Pltaform, Editional, the rest is history. It brought me a breath of fresh air, and that was highly needed at a time of self doubts, where I was navigating from burn out to bore out at work, wondering if one day I would fit this society I tried my best to accomodate — and… I found in CryptoArt, a community, closer to what I was, closer to the values I was bringing forward.
And we created for the love of creating. And I created soon after my first minting, this AquaBizarre Collection, which is a receptacle of my imaginary weird world of little deep marine see wonderbeings
And in 2020, I started to sell after months of giving my art away and exchanging with the Community… and it was my AquaBizarre #7 — The Submarine… to Quasimondo! 0.7ETH and my heart was ponding — Something was happening and I wondered if from now on, jokingly, I could start considering calling myself… an artist since I can sell … my Art!
And since my CryptoArt was flying from the shelves, and I lived the euphoria of 2021, and start of 2022…
and then, it crashed…
And it made me think — Am I good enough for that space… Could I really call myself and artist… and questions were dancing in my mind…
and I remembered May 2019, and I recall this feeling meeting a community that are now became friend, and a family and all the journey we did together, and my imagination whcih found an avenue to express and to be appreciated…
AquaBizarre #20 — Renaissance was born
and I took the step to even frame my watercolour to show myself a level of appreciation …. And I loved it… and I would like to give the collector this piece of artisan framing with my original watercolour
